This past weekend I created the images that were used to make the St. Osmund’s movie poster for their premiere May 4th 2013.
St. Osmund’s Plot Synopsis:
St. Osmund’s State Psychiatric Hospital was once regarded as one of the best mental hospitals in the country. In 1963, it shut down with no records of why or what happened to the thousands of mental patients who were there when it did. Fifty years later, a documentary film crew travels to the facility to try and answer the questions the administrators of St. Osmund’s left behind. But will pursuing the answers keep the crew trapped in St. Osmund’s forever?
St. Osmund’s was written and directed by Tom Jorgensen a Keene State College senior and Film major. This was Keene State’s first ever feature length student film.
Joshua Porter was the graphic designer who did all the text formatting and putting the texture on the image. Josh did a great job putting the poster together and getting it ready for the premiere. Josh is finishing up his senior year at Keene State college as a graphic design major.
We came out with a bunch of great images, it was hard to decide which photo to use for the poster.
If these images intrigue you be sure to check out St. Osmund’s Facebook page, and be sure to make it to their screening at the Wilton Town Hall Theater in Wilton, NH Sunday, May 19th.
