The autumn leaves were bursting with color and the apples ready for harvesting on this lovely fall wedding at Alyson’s Orchard in Walpole, NH.
The guys were getting ready at the Rochambeau Lodge on Alyson’s property. It’s a cozy cabin with a lot of rooms for everyone to stay for the weekend. Once the guys got their suits on we went outside for some group shots of all the groomsmen with the fall colors as a backdrop.
Then it was time to head to the girls to continue to tell the story from their wedding. We arrived as they were finishing up their hair and makeup just before it was time for Shannon to get into her wedding dress and ready for her first look with Justin. Shannon had a beautiful wedding dress with sleeves that went perfectly with the cooler fall temperatures. After a mimosa toast, I got Justin in position for their first look.
We did their first look right by the reception venue alongside the reflection pond. I had my second photographer positioned across the pond so we could capture Shannon walking up and also their reflections in the water. It was beautiful — such a special moment between the two of them.
We still had a good bit of time before the ceremony so we used that to the fullest to create some amazing creative portraits all around the venue and down the apple rows.
Now it was time for us to hitch a ride down to the ceremony location on one of the tractor rides. It was starting to get chilly, but Shannon and Justin’s ceremony was so sweet we were all feeling warm and full of love :)
After the ceremony, we created their family portraits before heading inside to warm up for the cocktail hour. Shannon & Justin shared a lovely first dance of Millionaire by Chris Stapleton before listening to some toast from the bestman and all of the bridesmaids! It was such a fun wedding filled with some great music and dancing.

How did you decide on your ceremony/reception location?
We went to our Junior Prom at Alyson’s Orchard. We know the venue well and once we started looking into a location, everything about Alyson’s felt right.
When did you know he/she was the one?
Justin | I honestly can’t say there is an exact moment. It’s never really been a thought of mine that she wouldn’t be the one. Our entire relationship has been that “she’s the one moment”
Shannon | There wasn’t a he’s the one moment. I have just known that he was the right one for me and that I couldn’t imagine my life without him.
What’s the one thing you love most about each other?
Justin | I love that she doesn’t settle. In all aspects of life, she doesn’t look for the easiest way to do something, she strives for the most satisfying way. It’s been incredible to watch over the years.
Shannon | He’s just a good person. Justin is the most trustworthy person I have ever met, never one to lie, cheat or manipulate a situation to anyone, no matter the scenario.
Besides getting married, what’s the one thing you were looking forward to on your wedding day?
Since we moved to Arizona in February of this year, we are looking forward to seeing all of our friends and family again for the first time in months.
What are your honeymoon plans?
We are headed to Italy! We will be in Rome for a few days, then head south to the island of Capri, with a quick stop in Naples on way our back home.
