One year. 365 Days. 365 Photos.
This was the challenge I set upon myself.
After 365 days I completed it successfully.
365 Project
This past year went by so fast! I can’t even believe that it is already over! When I first began this 365 Project it felt like this year was going to take forever!
There were many days that were very difficult to create a photo. But I never gave up. Everyday I pushed myself to create a new and creative image. Some images were more creative than others; some photos I am proud of and others I don’t like at all. But I stuck it out through the year with the good and with the bad.
My goal for this 365 project was to just create and share one photo everyday for the entire year. There wasn’t an overall theme linking all the photos together like self portraiture, or landscape images. Some of my photos were created to document the day, and others were just a random image that I decided to create.
Many things happen in one year. There are holidays, special occasions like a college graduation, or going on a trip.
Here is a small sample of what my year in photos captured:

Life

Death

I started this photographic journey on May 29th 2012; my 20th birthday. I wanted to capture my entire 20th year in photos, and I did just that!
My first photo was an empty glass.

My last photo was a full glass.

I felt that this was symbolic of this project. When I began the project was empty, and I didn’t know what was going to be in it. But as the year progressed I filled up the glass more and more, and by the end the project and glass was full. With every year we grow older and wiser and we fill our glass of life up with our experiences. I’m not saying that my glass of life is already full, but I’m a glass half full kinda guy. :-)
Another fun reason why I did this whole full to empty glass was because I was ending on my 21st birthday. ;-)
Please look through all my photos that I spent the last year of my life working on.
I hope you enjoy them.
