Alicia and Joshua had a beautiful day for their wedding. They got married at Prescott Park in Portsmouth NH right on the South Pier. It was a touching ceremony right on the water overlooking the harbor and the Portsmouth Naval Shipyard where Joshua had been stationed. After the ceremony we took a trolley ride over to the Gas Light Company right in the heart of downtown Portsmouth. Their wedding was so much fun for everyone, myself included. :)

Tell us how you first met.
We met when Joshua was stationed at the Portsmouth Naval Shipyard. Joshua asked Alicia out to dinner in Portsmouth and after Alicia took Joshua to see Bob Marley. After the evening had ended, Joshua sent Alicia a text saying he really enjoyed the date. That was when Alicia knew he was someone special.
When did you know he/she was the one?
I knew when he showed the same compassion and caring for my children as he did for his, that he was the one I wanted to be with forever. He never judged my situation, and stepped in as a father to my youngest when she was only 2 years old.
Tell us about the proposal.
When we were in Las Vegas I knew that she was the one. We went shopping and I bought her ring right in front of her without her realizing it. Later that night I asked her to come over to my side of our bed. I reached under the pillow and pulled out her ring. I then asked her to marry me.
What’s the one thing you love most about each other?
Joshua: I love her smile and the way she makes me fill complete.
Alicia: I love how he make me feel safe and that together we can do anything.
Besides getting married, what’s the one thing you are looking forward to on your wedding day?
Having all our family and friends there to support us.
