Sam and Darren’s wedding was a bit different than usual, but nonetheless just as special.
They opted to have a small intimate wedding ceremony with just their family at the Manchester NH City Hall.
I met them at City Hall with their family, and had the ceremony officiated by a city Judge. After they exchanged their vows and said their “I do’s” they sealed their marriage with a kiss to wrap up their short ceremony.
After that we took a few photos inside City Hall and then went outside to create their family portraits. Once we were done with all of those I took them around the corner to this cool little alleyway that I found for some more creative portraits.
And that was that! They were all done and married in less than an hour :)
No matter the wedding, big or small, everyone deserves to have amazing images from their day, and I am so happy to capture them :)

Why did you decide to elope?
Darren and I have been together for over 7 years and we were honestly planning a wedding in Kansas City, Missouri and we even had save the dates made and everything….we woke up one morning and were just chatting about everything and it hit us…. Why don’t we save a lot of money and just elope! ( I didn’t want to wait any longer to be Mrs. Vest, heck I had been waiting 7 years!!!) We just decided we would rather take the money we ended up saving and start the home buying process!
When did you know he/she was the one?
Sam | I knew instantly, with Darren I was instantly comfortable with him. He has been my best friend since day one. I really can’t explain the feeling he gives me, I guess what I can say is you know what it feels like once you meet your person… if that makes any sense at all!
What’s the one thing you love most about each other?
Sam | I love his laugh, there’s something about it. Typing this, thinking about it… I’m smiling like a fool.
