Location | Gunstock Mountain Resort
For Tori & Dave’s engagement session location, they decided on Gunstock Mountain — the same location as their first date all those years ago.
While Gunstock Mountain is a popular skiing mountain it is also very busy in the summer with zip lines, alpine slides and other mountain adventures. The beautiful views, woods, and trails made for a great location for their engagement session! We started the session riding up the chair lift to the summit of the mountain. It was a beautiful ride to the top, with the White Mountains as our backdrop. It was definitely weird to ride a chairlift in the summer without a board strapped to my feet.
Once we got to the top of the mountain we began to explore around on the various trails and glades through the woods. After creating a bunch of different images we made our way back to the summit to ride the lift back down the mountain. Tori and Dave then changed into a bit more casual of an outfit and we made our way to a wooded area where the mountain’s campsites are. We finished up their engagement session right as the sun was getting low in the sky making for some awesome golden light.

How long have you been together?
Dave and I have been together for 7 1/2 years.
Tell us how you first met.
We met through mutual friends when we were 16.
When did you get engaged?
We’ve been engaged since November 8, 2015.
Tell us about the proposal.
It was a Sunday night and I had been at home in my pajamas all day, so when he suggested that we get dressed up and go out for a nice dinner, I told him I really didn’t want to go! He eventually convinced me, and needless to say, I was completely surprised when he proposed and very glad I left the couch!
