Tyna and Jason had a stunning day for their wedding. They got married at Alyson’s Orchard in Walpole, NH — a picturesque New England wedding venue. They had a beautiful ceremony at Sarma’s Pond, with the rolling hills behind them. After the ceremony, there was amazing food — including raw oysters (a personal favorite food of mine)! Everything about their wedding was exceptional :)
Krystyna and Jason’s Wedding Date | 9/6/2015
Tell us how you first met.
Jason and I met through friends when he was living in Keene and I was attending Keene State, we started off as best friends. Jason, my Maid of Honor Andrea and I were inseparable, the best of friends. When Andrea and I would get out of work we would immediately call Jason (who we then referred to as Berry) to see what he was doing, because you knew that if Jason was around you would be having a great time and laughing every second.
When did you know he/she was the one?
Jason: A few years before we started dating I was out with a friend and Tyna walked in and I said to him “I’d marry her right now if I could”.
Tyna: Andrea and I were cleaning up after working a dinner shift at Burdicks, and of course we were going to get in touch with Jason to see what he was doing (our go to move at the end of every shift) and after I got off the phone with him and we figured out what we were doing I looked at Andrea and said, “Oh my god I LIKE Berry, like I really like him!!!!” I couldn’t believe it, my best friend for such a long time was changing into the person I had new feelings for. I was excited, and a little worried to take this big leap of faith, but I knew this was the real deal, and it was worth it.
Tell us about the proposal.
Jason kept everything a secret, no one knew! We went on our annual Florida vacation and on the first night we went to the horse show and Jason stayed home, he kept texting me asking when we would be home, I just thought he was bored home alone, but I was totally wrong! When we got home we snuggled in bed together and talked for a while and Jason kept saying the sweetest things to me. I still had no idea. I kept repeating the phrase “you’re being so sweet, this is so nice” still completely oblivious that he was telling me all the things he loves about me for a reason! After he actually said the words “will you marry me” I buried my head into his chest sobbing in delight! I think I said yes a minimum of 15 times! Immediately following he brought out a magnum bottle of my most favorite champagne and we cheersed the night away with his mom and his aunt Cindy celebrating. The celebration continued, in the morning I was surprised with a limo ride down to Miami and a stay in a swanky Miami hotel where the celebrating continued with the most delicious lunch and dinner either of us had ever had (and of course tons more champagne). Then as if that wasn’t enough I was surprised with swimming with dolphins the next morning! Something I had wanted to do for years! It was the most incredible weekend I have ever had.
What’s the one thing you love most about each other?
Jason: There’s not one thing. It’s Tyna’s personality and how it compliments mine. We are the perfect match of similarities and differences and we just work together.
Tyna: I love Jason’s sense of humor, he is forever making me smile and laugh, he can always lift me up on a tough day, and he helps me remember to laugh every day.
Besides getting married, what’s the one thing you are looking forward to on your wedding day?
We are both so excited to have our families and friends all be together with us. We are both so close with our family and friends and are so excited that everyone we love will all be together that day.
I hope that you have enjoyed Tyna and Jason’s story and their wedding photos! They definitely have an amazing love story :)
