Alex and Ryan had a beautiful day for their wedding at the Bellows Walpole Inn, in Walpole, NH.
One of the great things about the Bellows Walpole Inn is that everything is right there. While Alex got ready with her bridesmaids in a beautiful room overlooking their ceremony location, Ryan and his groomsmen were getting ready for the big day just one floor below.
Once they were both ready we did a little no-look first look before Ryan headed out to the ceremony location right beside the Inn. They exchanged vows and said “I do” under a beautiful pergola adorned with flowers and flowing fabric.
After their ceremony, we all piled into a party bus to explore around Walpole and create photos along the way before returning to the Barn at the Bellows Walpole Inn for their reception. Following their announcements, Alex and Ryan shared their first dance as husband and wife.
They had such an amazing day, and we were so happy to be able to share in the celebration of this wonderful couple :)
Alex and Ryan’s Wedding Date | 9/19/2020
How did you decide on your ceremony/reception location?
We toured venues throughout New Hampshire and Vermont and decided on the Potato Barn in Walpole, NH because we wanted to have a barn theme that provided the ultimate wedding experience. We are able to spend the whole weekend at the venue with our bridal party and family, which is something that we really wanted.
When did you know he/she was the one?
Ryan | I have known that I have wanted to marry Alex for a very long time. If I had to pinpoint an exact moment, it would have to be when we first lived together on Mayflower Drive in Keene.
Alex | This is a tough one, because I feel like I have known for a while. Ryan and I have been together for almost 8 years. We have lived together for over 5 years. I remember planning with Ryan for what’s next after my college graduation and we both knew we wanted to be together and we decided to call New Hampshire home.
What’s the one thing you love most about each other?
Ryan | I love that Alex is an extremely driven person and has a kind heart.
Alex | I love that Ryan loves me unconditionally.
Besides getting married, what’s the one thing you were looking forward to on your wedding day?
Celebrating our love with our family and friends and starting our own little family. Also, dancing the night away!
What are your honeymoon plans?
Unfortunately, Coronavirus has changed all of our honeymoon plans. We hope to get away locally after the wedding traveling to some of our favorite spots in New Hampshire, Maine, and Massachusetts. We are most excited to relax and spend time together as husband and wife. Once it is safe, we will plan to go to St. Lucia or Aruba. We were not able to research too much before Corona shook the world.
I hope that you have enjoyed Alex and Ryan’s story and their wedding photos! They were a blast to work with for their wedding and their engagement session. If you haven’t seen that then definitely take a look!
