Location | Nubble Lighthouse, York, Maine
Thomas contacted me looking to propose to Lauren at the Nubble Lighthouse, and while I have photographed a wedding and an engagement session there, this was my first proposal session at the Lighthouse.
After a bit of planning, Thomas and I coordinated his ideal proposal, including where I wanted them to stand with the lighthouse in view. When the day came it was quite a windy, but beautifully sunny spring afternoon.
What made the day even more special for them was that it was their 5th year anniversary of being together.
Once I saw him pulling the ring from his back pocket, it was showtime. And of course, Lauren said yes :)

We met through mutual friends.
How/why did you choose Nubble Lighthouse in York, Maine for your proposal location?
The Nubble Lighthouse was the best location I could think of in New England/ local. I used to go there with my family growing up.
