Location | Goose Pond, Keene, NH
For Cassandra and Bryan’s engagement session we walked around Goose Pond in Keene, NH. We all had a great time trotting around the pond and avoiding a few rain sprinkles that came down unexpectedly. The trail around Goose Pond is a great walking trail with a bunch of scenic areas to create photographs! While I have hiked the Goose Pond trail many times for fun this was actually my first time doing an engagement session there — but I knew the mixture of the beautiful pond, winding pine needle covered trails, and lush green trees would create amazing backdrops for their engagement session.
I hope you enjoy Cassandra and Bryan’s Engagement session!
How long have you been together?
We have been together since senior year in college at Worcester Polytechnic Institute, about 4 years.
Tell us how you first met.
We worked on our Civil/Environmental Engineering capstone project together.
Tell us about the proposal.
During a trip to Europe in June of 2015, we stayed for a few days in Bruges, Belgium. The city was a whirlwind of exploration and new experiences. After dinner on the second night in Bruges, we took a long walk around the historic Old City. Bryan stopped for a moment at a beautiful bridge and proposed!
How did you decide on your wedding venue?
We are both outdoorsy and love to camp and hike. We have explored many of the mountains and trails in NH and VT. We are excited for our wedding at the Shattuck at the base of Mt. Monadnock, as we’ve hiked that mountain many times and the venue has a fantastic view!
