Congratulations to Demi and James for their little baby Bea to be! We actually shot this maternity session on Mother’s Day, which was so fitting. We had a lovely spring day — the birds were chirping and the trees were ready to burst into their full green glory! We decided on doing the session at Otter Brook Dam Recreational Facility — a wonderful place to have a picnic or go for a swim in the summertime. There are so many nice places to create images and all within a short little walk.
Now we just have to wait to see if Bea arrives on time :)

What is your baby’s name and how did you choose it?
We chose the name Beatrice Margaret. Beatrice is his grandmother’s name. She’s a very kind, warm, patient person who Jimmy admires. Margaret was my granny’s name. She was my favorite person in the world. She was tiny, feisty and so full of life. I think we’re hoping Baby Bea will be a mixture of our favorite qualities in both of them.
When is your due date?
We’re due June 7.
What have you enjoyed about being pregnant?
I’ve really enjoyed feeling Bea’s kicks and headbutts. I have a feeling she’ll be an active little one who will keep us on our toes. I’ve also enjoyed seeing Jimmy grow and change along with me.
What are you most looking forward to about being a mom?
I’m looking forward to being completely lost and having no idea what I’m doing because I know I’ll have Jimmy beside me being just as scared and confused. But we’ll figure it out together just like we always have :)
