Caitlin and Josh’s wedding was on a hot summer day. They got married at Sterling National Country Club — a beautiful venue about an hour west of Boston, MA. Caitlin and Josh decided to do a first look and we found a secluded bridge through the woods that was the perfect location. We then headed back to the ceremony location for them to get married — by their mothers! This was the first wedding I have been been to that had both the bride and groom’s mother’s officiate the wedding. It made their ceremony that more special. Enjoy :)

Tell us how you first met.
We first met in second grade, when we were in the same class. We didn’t become close friends until high school when we worked together at an after-school program. Years later, at the end of college, we started dating.
When did you know he/she was the one?
Caitlin: I realized it over time as I saw how caring and dedicated he is to those he loves.
Josh: When we worked together at the after school program.
Tell us about the proposal.
Josh asked if I wanted to use a gift certificate we had had for over a year to spend the night in Boston five days before Christmas. I was a little suspicious due to the timing, but throughout the day in Boston, he seemed so calm that I was convinced he wasn’t going to propose. We went to dinner in the North End and had a great meal, went for a drink after and had a nice talk about our family and friends. When we got back to the hotel, I was already in my pajamas when he got down on his knee and proposed!
What’s the one thing you love most about each other?
Caitlin: His kindness and sense of humor.
Josh: Her concern for others.
Besides getting married, what’s the one thing you are looking forward to on your wedding day?
Partying and celebrating with friends and family!
