Molly and Pat had an absolutely perfect day for this late fall wedding. They got married at Alyson’s Orchard, in Walpole, NH — a beautiful venue with many different ceremony locations and a plethora of beautiful spots for photos. Molly and Pat choose Ann Marie’s Point of View as their ceremony location which is on the south side of the orchard overlooking the picturesque farms of Walpole, NH. They even hand built their altar using huge old barn timbers under which they got married to complete this rustic autumn wedding.

Tell us how you first met.
We first met when Molly’s car broke down and Patrick was “the man for the job.” Molly had an apparent cracked “y-pipe” and the shop owner where she brought her car passed the repair work onto Patrick. Timing is everything and love at first sight maybe cliche to some, but not to us. We have lived these adages and believe we were destined to be together! Ever since that day, we’ve been inseparable.
When did you know he/she was the one?
Molly: I don’t know if there’s one defining moment for me… They say when it’s right “you just know”…I knew since the first day.
Patrick: When she helped me birthday shop for my mom the 2nd day we hung out. She spent the day with my family that she had just met and never complained.
Tell us about the proposal.
We went on a weekend trip to York Beach, Maine. The first night we were there, we went for a walk on the beach before dinner. Patrick wanted to take a picture with the sunset in the background so we asked an old lady on the beach to take a picture for us …Molly was satisfied with a “selfie,” but Patrick said he wanted a nice picture. Right when she was about to take the picture, Patrick got down on one knee and popped the question! We have a bunch of pictures of the big moment that we’ll cherish forever.
***A cool side note… the woman had no idea what Patrick was about to do.. and afterwards she said “Oh my goodness… this happened to me last time we were on vacation too!!” Now we call her “the engagement fairy.” :) ***
What’s the one thing you love most about each other?
Molly: Patrick has brought out a completely new side of me. He’s adventurous and outgoing, wild and free-spirited. He has taught me not to take life too seriously. I know that he would do anything for me, but most importantly, he would do anything for anyone – and I really admire that about him.
Patrick: I love everything about Miss Molly. She is perfect and I wouldn’t change a thing about her. I love her smile :)
Besides getting married, what’s the one thing you are looking forward to on your wedding day?
Dancing and celebrating with friends!!
